2 Corinthians 4:7-12 “ The Treasure Is The Power”

2 Corinthians 4:7-12 “ The Treasure Is The Power”

We have this treasure in hearten Vessels. I was invited to preach an engagement recently and this scripture was the lead Theme. “ Broken To Gain Power” My focus was on The Power Of the Holy Spirit and how we are broken and Frustrated Many times and How the trails of life really weigh us down. Then we find out we have a power inside us That Carries Us through. For about a week or so after The engagement, this passage of scripture would not leave my heart and my mind. Looking closer, I Noticed something very revealing in this passage of scripture. First natural. The vessel here is made of Earthly substances. Easily broken, very fragile, Mud , clay or very fragile materials , unable to take too much trauma or it will break. Just like us we are very fragile, shaped by God Like clay in the hands of a skilled Potter. When the cares of the world gets us down, its times we feel Like we can’t make up, but we when Think about The TREASURE on The inside of us I am always strengthened, and encouraged. The Holy spirit reminds me that I am Not alone and The Lord Will never allow anything to happen to me That He is not in control Of. I am Reminded of Jeremiah 18: “ Potter and the Clay”. The total Control of The Clay was In The hands Of The Potter. We are the Clay in the Skillful Hands Of God The Potter Our Father. There are times when God Has to Keep on Breaking us and starting over but we never leave His Loving hands. He Breaks us over and Over Until We look like He wants us to Look, and the Greatest Part of his is all is He never Leave us. His only desire is to let us now That It’s His Power Taking Us Through and Not Our Own Human Power. I believe This Is God way of Keeping Haughty Man Humble. No matter what we go through and no matter how hard we fall he is there. But know there’s a TREASURE In The Hearten Vessel . See a Vessel is used to Hold something. Our Power That we hold In Our Vessels( Body) is the Power of the Holy Spirit. Saints when You Feel Like You’ve had all You Can take , Think about The Treasure That’s Really holding That fragile Vessel together .
